I’m not really a socks person–Hyderabad’s weather just just doesn’t allow me to. But while away in San Francisco I did try once after enthusiastically ordering one from ASOS (an over the knee length) only to find the nearest deserted alley and take them off. That has been my only experience so far.

The over the knee length socks has been trending for a while now–and just as I thought it could well be over this season, I see that Marni has them for H&M. The most anticipated collaboration after Missioni for Target and Versace for H&M. At the Los Angeles Launch, both Freida Pinto and Drew Barrymore were in Marni for H&M dress and socks. Freida’s collar and belt are also from this collection.
